completely disturbing, but strangely intriguing...

It's now become my daily routine while at work to check the latest headlines through Google News. Granted I don't read all of the articles, in fact I'd say I probably read less than 1% of them. But I have found that even if I don't read the articles, I can usually get a general gist of what's going on simply from the title.

With that said, I just so happened to read a headline that really peeked my interest, I think it was an article on the FoxNews website. In all honestly, I don't remember what the article was about, but what struck me even more was a link I found just to the lower left of where the end of the article finished on the webpage. The headline referred to what was called the "Montauk monster" but what intrigued me most of all was the picture that was positioned next to it. I clicked on the article and this is what I saw. Now I'm sure many of you might have already seen it, as I'm usually the last to hear/read about anything that goes on anywhere in the world, but I have to admit, it still freaked me out. I'm looking at the picture of the so-called Montauk monster and am strangely perplexed. What could it be? Or more importantly, is it real? And although it's absolutely horrific to look at, it's one of those things that you know you're going to hate, but you just can't help but look at it.

Here's a picture if you don't believe me:
